Welcome to Tjoppie. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website  and the purchase of any apparel or products from our online store. By placing an order with Tjoppie, you agree to be bound by these Terms. We recommend that you read them carefully before making a purchase.

1.      Introduction and Business Details

          Tjoppie is a proudly South African apparel brand. These Terms are designed to comply with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA) of South Africa.

2.      Orders and Payment Terms

2.1.    Pay-Before-Delivery Policy: All orders must be paid in full, including any applicable delivery fees, before the products are dispatched. No "Cash on Delivery" or "Pay Later" options are available unless explicitly stated.

2.2.    Payment Methods: We accept EFT payments into the nominated Business Account (as per quote/invoice).

2.3.    Order Confirmation: An order is only considered "Accepted" once payment has cleared in our account and you have received a confirmation email.

3.      Sizing and Product Descriptions

3.1.    Size Accuracy: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the correct size is selected. We provide a detailed Size Guide on our website. Please measure yourself accurately before ordering.

3.2.    Fit Disclaimer: While we strive for consistency, slight variations in fit may occur due to the handmade nature of some items or differences in fabric batches.

3.3.    Colours and Images: We make every effort to display product colours accurately. However, due to screen calibration differences, the actual colour of the garment may vary slightly from what you see on your device.

4.      Shipping and Delivery

4.1.    Delivery Areas: We deliver across South Africa. International shipping may be available upon special request and at additional cost.

4.2.    Timeline: Estimated delivery times are 10-15 business days from the date of payment clearance.

4.3.    Risk and Ownership: Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery to the address provided. Tjoppie is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once marked as delivered by our courier partners.

5.      Returns and Exchanges Policy

5.1.    3-Day Cooling-Off Period (ECTA): In accordance with the ECTA, you are entitled to cancel your purchase within 3 days of receiving the goods for a full refund (excluding the cost of returning the goods).

5.2.    Return Conditions: To be eligible for a return or exchange:

          * Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition.

          * Original tags and packaging must be intact.

          * Returns must be initiated within 3 days of receipt.

5.3.    Exchanges for Size: If you ordered the wrong size, we will facilitate an exchange subject to stock availability. The customer is responsible for the courier costs associated with returning the item and shipping the replacement.

6.         Cancellations

6.1.    Customer Cancellations: Orders can be cancelled 3 days before dispatch for a full refund. Once an order has been handed to the courier, the Returns Policy (Section 5) applies.

6.2.    Business Cancellations: Tjoppie reserves the right to cancel any order due to stock errors, pricing mistakes, or suspected fraudulent activity. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

7.      Privacy and Personal Information

We value your privacy. Your personal information will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We will only use your data to process your order and improve our service.

8.      Limitation of Liability

         To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tjoppie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.

9          Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
